Delivering Design in BIM — Powered by Autodesk Revit
K Tech Consulting produces all security and ICT design documentation within a fully coordinated Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment. Our dedicated BIM and technical team uses Autodesk Revit as the primary authoring platform, ensuring that every design we deliver is spatially accurate, clash-free and ready for integration with the wider project model.
Working in Revit allows us to produce intelligent 3D models of security and ELV systems — including cable containment, equipment rooms, riser shafts and device layouts — that can be federated with architectural, structural and MEP models using Autodesk Navisworks for full multi-discipline coordination and clash detection.
Our BIM output is structured to meet project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements and aligns with internationally recognised standards including ISO 19650. Whether the project requires LOD 200 concept models or LOD 350 construction-ready documentation, our team delivers to the required level of detail and data richness.
Beyond design delivery, K Tech Consulting also offers services to advance models from Design LOD 350 through to LOD 400 (fabrication-level detail) and LOD 500 (as-built record models) — incorporating contractor shop drawings, installed equipment data and commissioning records to provide clients with a fully accurate, facility-management-ready BIM asset at project close-out.
