Framework alignment: K Tech Consulting's deliverables map directly to both frameworks. Whether your project team follows RIBA or AIA conventions, our scope of services and documentation standards are structured to integrate without friction.
K Tech Consulting produces all security and ICT design documentation within a fully coordinated Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment. Our dedicated BIM and technical team uses Autodesk Revit as the primary authoring platform, ensuring that every design we deliver is spatially accurate, clash-free and ready for integration with the wider project model.
Working in Revit allows us to produce intelligent 3D models of security and ELV systems — including cable containment, equipment rooms, riser shafts and device layouts — that can be federated with architectural, structural and MEP models using Autodesk Navisworks for full multi-discipline coordination and clash detection.
Our BIM output is structured to meet project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP) requirements and aligns with internationally recognised standards including ISO 19650. Whether the project requires LOD 200 concept models or LOD 350 construction-ready documentation, our team delivers to the required level of detail and data richness.
Beyond design delivery, K Tech Consulting also offers services to advance models from Design LOD 350 through to LOD 400 (fabrication-level detail) and LOD 500 (as-built record models) — incorporating contractor shop drawings, installed equipment data and commissioning records to provide clients with a fully accurate, facility-management-ready BIM asset at project close-out.
All security and ICT systems modelled in 3D within Revit — including containment routes, equipment rooms, risers and device placements — providing full spatial clarity before construction begins.
Federated models reviewed in Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, reducing costly on-site conflicts.
Revit models used to generate accurate construction drawings, sections, elevations and schedules — ensuring consistency between the model and issued documentation.
BIM deliverables structured to meet project BEP requirements, including naming conventions, model breakdown structures, LOD definitions and data drop schedules.
Information management processes aligned with ISO 19650 principles — covering information requirements, delivery milestones and common data environment (CDE) protocols.
Post-construction model updates incorporating site variations and commissioning records, providing clients with accurate as-built BIM data for facilities management.
Our consultants are available for initial project discussions, technical reviews, and feasibility assessments.
