HospitalityLocated on a 26-acre man-made island off the coast of Dubai, situated adjacent to the iconic Burj Al Arab. The Island will introduce the first MGM, Aria & Bellagio-branded hotels in the Middle East, as well as a number of other key world-class amenities and attractions. Security scope included Data Collection, Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Prequalification of Contractor(s), and Tender & Contract Documentation.
Part of a 3-stage expansion project, the new Terminal 1 at KAIA is considered one of the largest airport terminal buildings of its kind in the world. Developed to provide the main transport hub for Jeddah and Mecca, it occupies a floor area of 810,000 sqm and is designed to serve 35 million passengers per annum. This mega project is part of a huge infrastructure initiative throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. K Tech's design engagement included Design Review, Value Engineering, Update of systems to latest technologies, and Assessment of integrated systems.
SportOne of Qatar's oldest continuously inhabited areas, Al Wakrah has long been a seafaring trader's town whose dhow boat sails inspired the boldly futuristic shape of the 40,000-capacity arena, which hosted matches through to the 2022 FIFA World Cup™ quarterfinals. After the World Cup it became the home of Al Wakrah Sports Club with a reduced capacity of 20,000. Security scope included Security Threat & Risk Assessment and Detailed Design.
